Rescheduled Chiefs game leads to programming changes for KOAM newscasts

JOPLIN, Mo. / PITTSBURG, Kan. – The New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs is rescheduled for Monday night on CBS, causing some changes for KOAM News Now programming.

Here’s the lineup for this evening, October 5, on KOAM (CBS):

  • KOAM News at 5 @ 5:00 p.m. (Tune in and be a part of our new KOAM News Now InstaPoll!)
  • KOAM News at 6 @ 5:30 p.m.
  • Patriots vs Chiefs @ 6:00 p.m.

CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell will air at 5:30 p.m. on the CW (Channel 14.2).

The Patriots-Chiefs game was originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon. It was postponed after Patriots starting quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

Monday morning, the teams were tested and given the all-clear to play.
