Report: Toledo OC Brian Wright to be named Pitt State head football coach
Wright has spent four years at Toledo
PITTSBURG, Kan. — Toledo offensive coordinator Brian Wright is expected to be named the next head football coach at Pittsburg State University.
WTOL (CBS) in Toledo, Ohio has confirmed Wright is headed to Pitt State.
Can confirm that Toledo Offensive Coordinator, Brian Wright, is leaving to become the Head Coach at Pitt State (D-II).
Jason Candle will have to replace both coordinators this offseason.

Wright has spent the last four seasons as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the Rockets. He helped Toledo win the MAC title back in 2017.
This year, the Rockets averaged 27.2 points and 434 yards per game with Wright as the offensive coordinator.
Wright will replace Tim Beck, who spent ten seasons as the head coach at Pittsburg State. In those ten years, Beck was 82-35 overall and won the 2011 national championship with the Gorillas.
Pittsburg State University has not responded to a request for confirmation of the report.
