PITTSBURG, Kan. – It was built in the mid-1800s, now, a Pittsburg building is rejuvenated for the holiday season.

The White Elephant Emporium had its grand opening in October. Today, it kicked off its holiday season.

Stephanie Watts took her dad’s old warehouse and converted it into an open-air home decor shop. She runs the business with her sister-in-law, Danielle Beitzinger.

Watts is excited about the new shop and the building’s history “This building probably dates back to the mid-1800s. It held livestock and a kill chicken warehouse.”

You can check it out tomorrow, Nov. 20, and every Saturday up to Christmas. They are located at 108 E 8th St.
