Regional talent highlights 2020 Pitt State football recruiting class

The Gorillas have signed 32 players for the 2020 season.

PITTSBURG, Kan. – Pittsburg State football announced its 2020 recruiting class on Wednesday afternoon.

First-year head coach Brian Wright says the program has signed 32 players for the upcoming season. Of those 32 players, 12 are from Kansas, 7 are from Texas, 6 are from Missouri and 5 are from Oklahoma.

“I thought it was important to make sure we hired guys on the staff that could recruit those areas and had ties in those areas,” Wright says, “I think there’s really good football in this state, and there’s really good football in Missouri and Oklahoma and Texas. For us to be able to get out and identify those guys I think is really important. I think we were able to do that and get some guys from some really good programs in all states.”
