JOPLIN, Mo. – Regal Northstar theater in Joplin reopened to the public on Friday showing classics and a couple of popular blockbusters. The movie theater is notably less busy than previous weekends because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Regal has put in place new safety and health procedures at all Regal theaters based on guidelines from CDC.

Guests will be required to wear masks at all times while in the lobby, hallways, restrooms and while in the auditoriums — masks can be removed inside the auditorium only while eating and drinking.

To maintain social distancing throughout the movie the reservation system will maintain two empty seats between groups.
