Tips from the public and interviews led detectives to this area. On Thursday an aerial search was conducted that led them to locating what they thought was the vehicle covered by brush and debris. It was enough evidence to get an Okmulgee County judge to sign a search warrant and Friday afternoon the property was searched on foot.
Tulsa Police Auto Theft Detectives also found a stolen dump truck and a stolen sedan on the same property.
Charges have now been filed for Toni Morris and Roy Morris, who police say were also involved. Charges have been submitted for Larceny of a motor vehicle and Burglary. The vehicle was stolen from inside a locked facility where it was kept.
The investigation continues and Tulsa Police anticipate additional arrests in the case.
After processing evidence the car will be returned to its owner.
