Rain Chances Will Continue Into the Start of the Weekend
Thanks to our atmosphere working with an influx of tropical moisture and Gordon coming into play by the weekend, we’ll hold onto the rain chances over the next 4 days. With our scattered t-storms for Wednesday and Thursday, that could add up to an average of half an inch to an inch of rain. Needless to say, any heavier pockets of rain could bring the totals in spots over an inch. With the center of Gordon planning on passing just to the east of the area, that keeps the strongest of the t-storms with it away. With the system still planning on passing close to us, the wrap around moisture will keep rain chances going into Friday and Saturday. With Gordon’s influence on our rain chances by the weekend, that could bring an extra inch to two inches before we get a chance to dry out by Sunday.
