Rain can’t ruin PSU’s homecoming parade

Plenty of people packed the streets of Pittsburg Saturday to enjoy the Pitt State homecoming parade.

The parade ran through downtown Pittsburg from 11th and Broadway to 1st and Broadway.

The Pitt State Pride of the Plains marching band performed the school fight song as they fired up the crowd. And the Pitt cheer team even stopped at 4th and Broadway to perform for spectators.

Kansas State Senator Jerry Moran was a part of the parade, throwing out candy to the kids

This year’s theme for homecoming was, “There’s No Place Like Home.”
