UPDATE: Quaker Hill Manor confirms five new COVID-19 cases

UPDATE – Quaker Hill Manor confirms five new positive COVID-19 cases.

Two residents, two staff members, and one contracted staff member have tested positive for the Coronavirus.

There are currently four residents in the facility’s special care unit for COVID-19.

15 residents have recovered from the disease while five have died.


BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan  – Quaker Hill Manor in Baxter Springs confirms Coronavirus cases for some of their residents and employees.

12 additional residents have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing to total to 17 being cared for in the special care unit.  6 employees have also tested positive, as well as 1 contract employee.  These employees will not return until they have fully recovered.

The special care unit is an area designed to care for COVID-19 patients where they will be separated from other residents.
