Program teaches Neosho kids about outdoors, art and robots
Kids in Neosho, Missouri are learning about bugs, trees, art, and robots through a summer adventure program called “Learn, Grow, Do”.
It’s a weekly program that started Monday and runs through August.
Sponsored by the University of Missouri Extension Office, and local 4-H organizations — organizers say the programs are educational, and more importantly — fun.
“The kids out of this a chance to build character and life skills in a safe and fun environment,” says educational assistant Joni Houghton. “4-H and County Extension has always been about educating people to be able to be better in their community and so we use different topics to build life skills and to build character.”
T he programs are available in both Newton and McDonald counties.
