Police seek child endangerment charges after drug raid in Galena
GALENA, Kan. — Authorities arrest two people this morning after four young children are found in a home along with suspected drugs.
As a result of an ongoing investigation, Galena Police Officers, along with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant at a home on 5th Street in Galena around 7:30 am.
Officers found four young children in the home along with suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Two people were arrested and taken to the Cherokee County Jail.
Police are seeking charges against the male suspect for possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of child endangerment.
They’re requesting charges of possession of meth and harboring a pitbull against the female suspect.
