Police search for Callysta Rhiannon Smith, mother says she’s diabetic

Update: Callysta Smith has been found and is back with her parents. The police department thanks the community.

Pittsburg Police say they are searching for Callysta Rhiannon Smith who left home and was last seen on March 4th, 2019. Her mother says she has type one diabetes and to her knowledge, has not had any insulin since around 8:00 p.m. Monday night.

Callysta’s mother, Laura Smith, told KOAM/FOX14, “She may not be in the right state of mind due to her sugar being to high. She can also go into a diabetic coma due to not managing her sugar. Callysta momma loves u please get ahold of us. If anyone has any info please contact me on my Facebook Laura Vincent.”

Smith says Callysta has dyed brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a red PSU hoodie with dark leggings or sweat pants and black and white checked vans. She has the right side of her nose pierced.
