Police investigate bullet through a Pittsburg home

UPDATED 6/27 8:00 PM CST: Pittsburg Police arrested a suspect Friday night in connection to the shooting.

Police say the suspect fired a shot from inside a residence on Elm Street. The bullet then struck the residence across the street.

The suspect is being held in the Crawford County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

POSTED 6/27 7:00 PM CST: Pittsburg police are investigating after residents discovered a bullet hole in their window.

It happened Thursday night at a home on South Elm Street.

Those living in the home say they recently moved in, and are renting the house.

One resident we spoke with said he discovered the hole Friday morning. It appeared to him the bullet went through the window and in to a wall.

Pittsburg police say they are currently investigating, but no further details have been released.
