Pizza chains announce plans to hire thousands to meet demand
Papa Johns says it will hire 10,000 more employees to help fight the unemployment problem
JOPLIN, MO. – Papa Johns looks to fight the unemployment problem in America with a pledge to hire 10-thousand more employees. The restaurant chain hopes to meet the rising demand for their pizzas due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Papa John’s is not the only large restaurant chain to announce hiring plans amid widespread unemployment. Rival pizza restaurants Pizza Hut and Domino’s also announced plans to hire thousands of people to meet demand. Other large restaurant chains, like Mcdonald’s and Chipotle, have also announced their own hiring sprees as sales bounce back.
