Pittsburg man wanted in possible kidnapping, sexual assault
PITTSBURG, Kan. – Pittsburg Police are looking for Fedor Lomax, a second suspect in a possible kidnapping and sexual assault.
On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, a victim reported being held against their will for several hours and sexually assaulted by two males suspects earlier that morning.
Police investigated and arrested Abdul Wali Shoatz, 24, of Pittsburg around 6:50 p.m. that day. They requested charges of aggravated kidnapping, two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated intimidation of a victim. Authorities are holding him in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
The Prosecutor’s Office says charges have been filed.
Police have identified a second suspect in the case as Fedor Lee Warren Lomax, 25, of Pittsburg. Authorities have a Crawford County warrant for Lomax and are currently looking for him.
