UPDATED 7/9/14: Pittsburg Police have ruled Tuesday’s fire as arson.

Authorities say a domestic disturbance occurred minutes before a fire was intentionally set inside the residence.

30-year-old Rocky Riley was taken into custody and charged with aggravated arson.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.

POSTED 7/8/14: Authorities are investigating a fire that damaged a pittsburg home Tuesday.

It happened around 3 PM at a home on 4th and Smelter.

The two bedroom house sustained heavy smoke damage, but very little structural damage.

No injuries were reported, and no residents were inside the house at the time.

Pittsburg Police and the State Fire Marshall have been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
