Pittsburg Closes a portion of East Quincy St. for reconstruction
PITTSBURG, Kan. – The City of Pittsburg announced its reconstruction of East Quincy Street, and that motorists should drive with caution.
Officials say phase one will close East Quincy Street from Franklin Road to Taylor Street. Traffic on East Quincy between Franklin Road and Free Kings Highway will be limited to local traffic only.
The city encourages the public to seek alternate routes if possible, to slow down and use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction, and be aware of workers in the work zone.
