Pitt State’s Hardin invited to NFLPA Collegiate Bowl
Hardin had 4 interceptions this season for PSU
PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pitt State senior defensive back KiAnte Hardin has accepted an invitation to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Pasadena California.
The game will be played on January 18th at Rose Bowl Stadium.
The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is a post-season all-star game for any draft-eligible college football players. It’s a week-long experience that provides players with a chance to showcase their talents to NFL scouts and coaches.
The Webb City High School product played his first two years of college ball at the University of Minnesota before transferring to Pittsburg State. He redshirted in 2017 before playing the last two seasons for the Gorillas.
This year, Hardin finished tied for the team-high with 4 interceptions. He had 27 total tackles, including 3.5 tackles-for-loss.
As the main punt returner for Pittsburg State, he returned 16 punts for 230 yards, an average of 14.4 yards per return. His return average ranked him 2nd in the MIAA.
