Pitt State to host 2020 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

It's the 3rd time PSU has hosted the event at the Robert W. Plaster Center.

PITTSBURG, Kan. – Pittsburg State University will host the 2020 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in February. It’s the third time the school has hosted the event.

The Robert W. Plaster Center was also home of the 2016, 2018 and 2019 NCAA Division II National Championships, and is set to be the host again in March 2022.

Day one of the event is Friday, February 28th.

RELEASE FROM THE MIAA:

The MIAA announced that Pittsburg State will host the 2020 MIAA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of PSU will host the championships starting on Friday, February 28 through Sunday, March 1.

Day one of the event gets started on Friday, February 28 at 2 p.m. with the women’s pentathlon and men’s heptathlon. Field events kick off day two on Saturday, February 29 at 1:30 p.m. with running events scheduled for 2 p.m. that afternoon. The final day of competition is scheduled for Sunday, March 1. The Robert W. Plaster Center will host the Association’s championships for the third time since it opened in 2015. The venue was also the site of the 2016, 2018, and 2019 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships and is scheduled to host it again March 2022.
