Pitt State football leads MIAA in 2019 attendance

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Pittsburg State Gorillas led the MIAA in football attendance last season, according to attendance numbers released by the NCAA.

The Gorillas drew 46,227 total fans to 6 home games, for an average of 7,705 fans per game. That average of 7,705 fans per game is #1 in the MIAA and #5 in the nation.

The MIAA had seven programs make the top-25 in the nation in average attendance last season:

#5 Pitt State (7,705)

#9 Central Missouri (7,360)

#13 Missouri Western (5,833)

#14 Washburn (5,654)

#16 Northwest Missouri (5,612)

#18 Fort Hays State (5,414)

#25 Missouri Southern (4,802)
