2020 REVIEW
Colgan continued to roll last year in their 4th season under head coach Shawn Seemater. The Panthers were 7-3 overall and once again won a few games in the postseason. “Adapting to COVID, overcoming obstacles associated with COVID and being able to play an entire season was the best part of last year,” Seematter says, “I was proud of the way our kids handled themselves all summer and handled the pre-season changes. It allowed us to play a full season and make another deep run in the playoffs. We got better each week and came together at the end of the season, which is when you want to be playing your best.” Colgan does lose some talented players to graduation, including Janko Kalan and Kannon Keller, who are both going to play at Pittsburg State. They lose a big senior class with a bunch of key guys, but they do return a good group that’s been waiting for their turn.
