  • 2019: 6-4 (Second Round)

It was another solid season for Riverton. The Rams finished at .500 with a 4-4 overall record. “The biggest challenge last season was just giving our seniors as many games as possible,” says head coach Johnny Mallatt, “We stayed healthy, but other teams were not so lucky. We had three teams cancel on us. Our biggest takeaway is that it is a privilege to be able to play and coach this game.”

The Rams have got some momentum going over there in Riverton for the first time in a while. “We believe we can win every game,” coach Mallatt says, “A few years ago, we didn’t have that belief. We are moving in the right direction as a program. Our kids and our coaches know what it takes to win games.” Mallatt notes that he feels good about both sides of the ball, but special teams will be a point of emphasis in practice as the season approaches. “We expect our seniors to set the tone for the rest of the team,” Mallat says, “You have to have good senior leadership to be successful. Our expectations for this season are to expect to win, do our jobs and not make excuses.”
