Pickup crashes into a house, Carthage Police investigate DWI crash

CARTHAGE, Mo. — About 9:45 p.m. Sunday night E-911 were alerted to reports of a crash on E Central and Clinton in Carthage.

Tipsters told us it was a pickup that ran into a house.

Carthage Fire, Carthage Police and Mercy Ambulance responded emergency.

On scene Carthage Police officers tell us they were investigating a single vehicle DWI crash.

The driver was not injured. No residents were injured inside the home either. 

Grundy’s Towing removed the pickup.

After the pickup was removed one could see the extent of the damage to the residence on the west wall taking out a window and destroying the outside AC unit.

This is the second DWI crash Carthage Police are investigating after the Chiefs loss as of the initial printing of this article.
