Peterson Outdoor Ministries hosts 1st annual Fall Festival of Hope
BELLAMY, Mo. — The Fall Festival of Hope introduces the community to the Lodge of Hope and property with wagon rides and boat rides on the lake.
The Peterson Outdoor Ministries is a non-profit that ministers to disabled combat veterans, their families and those with disabilities year-round through outdoor activities and outreach programs.
“We gotta do something as a country, and we got to do something as a community. So this is to raise awareness for that, we believe our program is very affected, we’ve seen hundreds of veterans that came through our program, we’ve seen very good success. We have stopped over 3,000 suicides that we know of” said Founder of Peterson Outdoor Ministries, Tron Peterson.
All the funds raised will go into bringing veterans and their families to the Lodge of Hope free of charge.
The festival also included a petting zoo, authentic chuck wagon cooks, live music and a silent auction.
