Parsons police investigate possible abduction attempt

PARSONS, Kan. – The Parsons Police Department is investigating the attempted abduction of a young girl.

Police say around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, in the area of 32nd and Washington, two men in a white sedan with a darkened rear window stopped in front of the girl’s home.

One man got out of the car and grabbed her arm.

The girl said she would yell if he didn’t let go, at which point, the man fled back to the waiting car and sped off.

The young girl was not injured during the incident.

The driver is described as a black male in his 20’s or 30’s who may have a tattoo.

The passenger is described as a white male, also in his 20’s or 30’s, with blond hair standing about 5’10” to 6′.
