Beginning this Friday, April 12th, 2019, the Price Cutter store in Joplin will change its operating hours to 7:00 am to 7:00 pm until its closing.

“The Joplin Price Cutter, has served as a community partner to nearby residents for over 17 years and we understand it will be missed by its’ consumers.” said Erick Taylor, President of Pyramid Foods. “It’s always a difficult adjustment when a store closes and transitions. We want to thank the community and all our customers who choose to support local and shop Price Cutter. We invite you to shop with us, at our nearest locations: Neosho Price Cutter, Carthage King Cash Saver, Baxter Springs King Cash Saver, or Kansas King Cash Saver. We want our customers to know that any special orders already placed at our Joplin location, such as floral or bakery, will be honored and processed for their needs.”

“Price Cutter opened the store, at 1850 S. Maiden Lane in 2002, when it acquired it from Albertson’s, much has changed in the community, both in competition and population, that have impacted this store. Price Cutter, has been looking for a new location to relocate the store for the past year. The timing of this relocation did not coincide with the sale of the property to the James River Organization, but we are very happy that the building will immediately be put to good use for the community.” Erick Taylor continued.

Price Cutter, is committed to the Joplin area and all other communities they operate in. “Our Goal is to return to the Joplin market in the foreseeable future to service our customers, when a suitable location and agreement can be reached,” Taylor added.
