Suspect wanted in Stilwell homicide is arrested
UPDATE: ADAIR COUNTY, Okla. – Tyler Presley, the suspect in the murder of Brandon Stane yesterday in Stilwell is in custody. He was arrested without incident in Adair County at approximately 5:45 p.m. Local, state and federal law enforcement officials from both Oklahoma and Arkansas assisted the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) with this investigation.
STILWELL, Okla. – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is asking for assistance from the public in locating a white Ford Ranger pickup truck that agents believe is being driven by the suspect in a murder.
There is an active arrest warrant for Murder in the First Degree for 35-year-old Tyler Presley. He is accused of shooting Brandon Stane yesterday, May 13, at a home on S. 4725 Road in Stilwell. According to the OSBI, the suspect left the scene of the shooting in Stane’s 1995 Ford Ranger pickup that has blue pin stripes on both sides and Oklahoma tag JLE643.
Authorities say the pickup was seen on a Springdale, Ark., retail store’s security video at 5:00 p.m. yesterday. The OSBI is working with multiple law enforcement agencies in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, as well as the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Crime Task Force, in an attempt to locate the pickup and the suspect.

Presley is described as a white male, 6’ tall and 200 pounds. Again, it is believed that he is driving a white 1995 Ford Ranger pickup truck with blue pin stripes on both sides and Oklahoma tag JLE643.
