Oklahoma Voters To Decide Whether Eye Doctors Can Practice In Stores
Oklahoma voters will decide whether eye doctors should be permitted to practice inside retail establishments in the state.
Governor Mary Fallin has authorized the state question to appear on the November 6 general election ballot.
Fallin signed an election proclamation Monday after officials certified that supporters had met procedural requirements and collected enough signatures to qualify for a statewide ballot initiative.
The measure would amend the state constitution to allow optometrists or opticians to practice in retail establishments.
