Oklahoma teen arrested for the murders of his parents
Suspect's younger brother called 911
EDMOND, Okla — Police in Edmond Oklahoma have arrested a 19-year-old man suspected in the shooting deaths of his parents. The suspect’s younger brother was also home at the time.
Edmond Police Sgt. James Hamm says the younger brother heard gunshots early Monday morning and called authorities, who discovered the bodies of a man and a woman inside a home. Hamm says the older son surrendered and was taken into custody in connection with the deaths.
Hamm says police believe the 19-year-old shot and killed his parents and that authorities don’t believe the younger son was involved.
No names have been released.
