Oklahoma man charged with murder found competent to stand trial
OTTAWA COUNTY, Okla. — An Oklahoma man charged with first degree murder is found competent to stand for trial.
Witnesses reported Andrew Jones of Jenks, Oklahoma was drunk when he stabbed John Woods of Sapulpa, Oklahoma multiple times at a halfway house north of Miami, Oklahoma back in December 2016.
Jones’ mental state was evaluated in June.
Based on the findings, trial proceedings will continue.
