May God and our community be with Officer Reeds family and the recipients of his gifts of life last night.” — JPD

They also have a message of thanks to extend:

“Thank you! The community support is overwhelming. Other law enforcement agencies, dispatch centers, state and federal agencies, elected officials, local residents, non local residents, businesses, restaurants, fire departments, ambulance services, churches, financial institutions, charities, the hospitals and nameless other entities…we see you. We hear you. We haven’t even been able to grasp or notice all of the efforts yet in our time of grief and chaos much less say thank you individually.”
