Robert Valverde, 63, of Parsons, passed away at the evening of Friday, June 17, 2022, at his home.
Robert was born on November 5, 1958, to Gavino Pinales and Marie (Whittley) Valverde in Independence, Kansas. As a young boy, he moved with his family to Omaha, Nebraska, where he grew up and attended school.
In the 1980’s, Robert moved to Parsons. He worked for Convoy Systems LLC in Kansas City, Kansas as a truck driver until retiring due to ill health.
Known for his good-humor, Robert enjoyed giving his family and friends a “hard” time. He also enjoyed gardening, camping and doing handy-work.

Two sons – Shane Valverde (Jonette) of Virginia Beach, Virginia
Brandon Valverde of Fayetteville, Arkansas
Four grandchildren – Zachary Valverde, Zoe Valverde, Connor Valverde, and Isaiah Valverde
One brother – Ron Valverde of Parsons, Kansas
Two sisters – Mary Vosler of Omaha, Nebraska
Pam Goodell of Omaha, Nebraska
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation is under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons. There will be a private family service at a later date.
