Nancy Lou Whittington, 77, of Grove, OK, formerly of Parsons, died at 8:18 P.M., Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Grand Lake Villa.
She was born June 2, 1945 at Parsons, a daughter of Kerris Justin and Ruth Mae (Marlnee) Myers. She grew up in Parsons and attended school here.
She was employed at Fred Ronald’s and The Broderick Company and later worked many years at I.M.I. (now the Flesh Company) as a collator operator.
She moved to Grove, OK in 2005.
She was united in marriage to Mike White in 1966 at Parsons. They later divorced.
She married Dale Veach on December 23, 1977 at Parsons. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1996.
She later married Lonnie Whittington on March 14, 2007 at Parsons. He survives of the home.
Nancy was raised Baptist. She loved her two dogs, Toby and Gizzy, enjoyed computer games and genealogy work.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: numerous nieces and nephews, including – Ken Sexton, Savonburg, David Sexton, McCune, Lonnie Myers, Chanute, Greg Sexton, Parsons; one sister in-law – Gayle Stinson, Parsons.
Four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the CARSON-WALL FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Keaton officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
