Candy Lin Whitehead was born July 21, 1968 in Joplin, MO the daughter of Rickey and Linda (Golden) Whitehead. Candy loved going to church, going out to eat and watching the horses. Her family called her their go go girl. Candy was a member of the Swars Prairie Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents Linda and Larry Reynolds, Seneca, MO and Rick and Jackie Whitehead, Seneca, MO; siblings, Dusty Whitehead, Seneca, MO, Lori Werries and Danny, Goodman, MO, Rob Reynolds and Melissia, Neosho, MO and Brenda Nelson and Todd, Stephenville, TX and a host of extended family and friends.
Candy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Daisy and Ethmer Golden, Charles and Eunice Whitehead and Everett and Rosalee Reynolds.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church south of Seneca.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church with Jack Lankford officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Darrin Stephens, Nick Stephens, Joe Reynolds, Jake Reynolds, Ryan Stout and Jeff Flener serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will by Steve Weston, Trent Stephens and Greg Lankford.
