The Noon Kiwanis Club of Pittsburg installed more than 30 new officers on Thursday.

The service club sponsors various youth organizations in elementary, middle, and high schools.

A ceremony was held to recognize the incoming officers at Via Christi Hospital.

“Children will get involved and youth will get involved in things if we give them avenue and many times it takes an organization to really get that started for them and give them direction and a purpose,” says Kiwanis President Peggy Snyder.

“Serving others is just been something I’ve always done through my church and with my family and it just makes me feel wonderful,” says Kay Club President Ashley Hall.

The Division 3 Kiwanis International Lieutenant Governor was on hand to install the new members.
