No t-storms to worry about Thursday
Turning colder, though...
JOPLIN, Mo. — Our system will be on the way out today and that will mean an end to not only our chances for freezing rain. We’ll see any t-storm chances moving out as we get past this morning. This system will still have a few tricks up its sleeve as it continues eastward.
The Storm Prediction Center has a slight risk for severe weather out for portions of the Mississippi River & Ohio River Valley. That includes areas around Little Rock and Jonesboro in Arkansas and working northeastward to Indianapolis and Fort Wayne in Indiana.
Those areas could see strong to severe t-storms capable of high wind gusts and some large hail. In addition, there could be some isolated tornadoes before the system starts to lose steam on Friday. The timing looks to be between late Thursday morning and into Thursday afternoon.
