Shooting near Grove leaves one dead, police search for 1 person of interest

Update: Authorities spoke to Josh Simon and say he is no longer a person of interest and was not involved in the shooting.

Update: Authorities have pulled over the 2010 Nissan in McDonald County. They will be conducting interviews and followup.

Thursday morning around 5:20 a.m. Delaware County deputies were dispatched to 32501 S 685 rd, Grove, Oklahoma in reference to a shooting. 

Upon arrival deputies found a male deceased in the front yard from an apparent gunshot wound.  
A female found inside the home was also shot. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment on a non-life threatening gunshot wound. 

Authorities are searching for two persons of interest.  30 year old Josh Simon of Grove and 34 year old Charlie Buzzard of Grove. 

A suspect vehicle is described as a white 2010 Nissan four door with tinted windows. 

Another vehicle that belonged to the deceased male was taken from the scene, a tan 2002 GMC Sierra extended cab pickup truck. 

No names released until notification of next of kin. 

The OSBI is assisting in the investigation.
