Updated May 7, 2013: Investigators offer a $5,000 reward to help find out who started a March fire that destroyed a parole office in Nevada, Missouri.
A reward is now being offered for information leading to an arson arrest.
The state fire marshal says the fire at 330 South Prewitt in Nevada was deliberately set.
Repairs are underway at the Missouri Division of Probation and Parole Office.
In the meantime, the offices are open but have been relocated to the Southwest Community Services building on North Ash.
The Nevada fire chief says the March 20 arson is still under investigation.
Posted March 29, 2013: Two are seriously injured in a Nevada, Missouri house fire. A local pizza delivery driver made the 911 call.
Dominos workers say Thursday night at about 10:30 they saw a home at 219 Adams Street on Fire. One called 911 while the other went to see if anyone was home or inside.
Luckily, the Nevada Fire Department is located across the street and when emergency crews got to the scene and searched nobody was inside.
Later it was made known that two males around the ages of 35-40 were personally transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for severe burns. About 50% of the men’s upper bodies were burned. They have been transported to Springfield for further treatment.
The Nevada fire chief says the fire is still under investigation.
