Brave souls take a winter plunge in Shoal Creek.
Participants raised a minimum of $75 dollars to make the jump. Some dressed up as super heroes. All proceeds go to the Missouri Special Olympics, money raised will allow sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
“It’s a really special event, a lot of people support us and we really like that” says Special Olympic Athlete Jenny Daydon.
The Special Olympics is still taking donations.
