KBI: Galena body identified as Carthage man

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. - Authorities identify a body found in Galena, Kansas last month as a Carthage, Missouri man.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says the man was 52-year-old Peter C. Wittington. According to the KBI, Wittington last spoke to family in late 2022.
