1 of 4 suspects in a Pittsburg home invasion is sentenced

PITTSBURG, Kan. - Crawford County Attorney Michael Gayoso says Kylee Beachner has been sentenced for her role in an armed home invasion.

Gayoso says she was sentenced on Tuesday to four years in prison for aggravated robbery and aggravated intimidation of a witness. The courts are also requiring her to register as a violent offender because a firearm was used in the crime.

On March 11th, 2019, around 5:00 am, four suspects, armed with guns, forced their way into a home at 1405 N. Joplin Street in Pittsburg, Kansas. While inside, police say they subdued three occupants, physically injuring one of them in the process.

Police say the suspects forced the occupants to sit in one room of the home while they rummaged through the residence looking for valuables. The suspects reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash, firearms and other valuables. Police say the suspects threatened the victims with physical harm before leaving the home.

The Prosecutor's Office charged all four suspects: 18-year old Kylee Shane Beachner, of Galesburg, Kansas; 20-year-old Malik Monta Robinson, of Parsons, Kansas; 22-year-old Daelon Lee Hendricks, of Parsons, and 18-year-old Jeremy Stringfellow, also of Parsons.

Charges include aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, aggravated burglary and felony theft.

Robinson, Hendricks and Stringfellow have not been sentenced.

Police believe the victims were specifically targeted and that this was not a random act.
