JOPLIN, Mo. – Covid-19 leads to construction changes to KCU Dental in Joplin. The school will now have a larger reception area to allow social distancing, filtration systems will be upgraded, and barriers will be placed between rooms.

JOPLIN, Mo. – Joplin Police investigate an early morning shooting Wednesday at 4th and Bronwell. Police say 41-year old Timothy Shorter of Carthage was shot. According to JPD, the man who shot Shorter was at the scene when police arrived. However, no one has been arrested.

JOPLIN, Mo. – The Joplin City Council passes an emergency ordinance to enter into a contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. That contract gives the city $71,000 to fund Covid-19 contact tracing personell through March of 2022.
