IOLA, Kan. – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation assists in a death investigation in Iola, Kansas. Police found 34-year old Jamie Martin, from Iola, lying unresponsive in a driveway after receiving call about a fight. Martin was taken to the hospital but later died.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City, Missouri police are looking for the person or persons responsible for killing a child and wounding two adults in a school zone shooting Monday afternoon. Four people in a car were fired on by an assailant near Central High School. Authorities say it was too late to save the child, but the two adults wounded are expected to survive. Investigators say the surviving shooting victims did not see who shot them.

NEODESHA, Kan. – Some residents of Neodesha, Kansas are upset after being told they have until February to move. The city acquired the Northgate Mobile Estates around a year ago, and plans to create more housing for people looking to move to the town. To do that, they’ve told people who live there, they have until february to move out.
