JOPLIN, Mo. – Dining options are increasing in Joplin, even without new restaurants being built. That’s because some popular eateries are setting up “ghost kitchens” and allowing folks to order take-out and delivery. The concept is relatively simple. An out-of-town restaurant strikes a deal with a local restaurant, and uses the local kitchen to prepare food that can be ordered online. Famous Dave’s Barbeque is doing that in Joplin, and has set up shop inside Johnny Carinos on Rangeline. Ghost kitchens come to Joplin
