NEOSHO COUNTY, Kan. – A Pittsburg, Kansas man is dead following a wreck on U.S. 59 highway. It happened just before 5:30pm Sunday evening about two miles north of K-47 in Neosho County, Kansas. Police say 26-year-old Jessie White was traveling north when his vehicle went off the left side of the road, and overturned multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 36-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.

MOUNT VERNON, Mo. – Another fatal wreck Sunday evening, this one two miles east of Mount Vernon, Missouri. Missouri Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Matthew Vermillion of Ash Grove, Missouri crossed the center line while traveling east on State Highway 174. Vermillion crashed head-on into an oncoming car and overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. – Officials with the Jasper County Sheriffs office say the person of interest in the murder of Becci Sanders of Sarcoxie has been found dead. Officials say the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama received information that Justin Chase Stevens was staying in the garage apartment of a home in Cullman County. Deputies surrounded the house and attempted to call him out. When police entered the garage, they found Stevens dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – The Jasper County Health Department is asking for patience as it continues to schedule county residents for vaccination against the coronavirus. The department took to social media yesterday to explain, its supply of vaccine can’t currently meet the demand in Jasper County. But the department plans to schedule more vaccination clinics as the vaccine becomes available.
