WASHINGTON, D.C. – Election day is over but americans are still waiting to learn who their next president is. Into the early morning hours after millions cast their votes in person and by mail, there was no clear winner in the race between President Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden. Each candidate scored a number of projected state victories…but many crucial battleground states, like Pennsylvania, remain question marks.

GALENA, Kan. – Celebrations were held last night in Galena, Kansas at the watch party for Republican Jake LaTurner as he took the win for the Kansas 2nd Congressional District seat in congress with 55 percent of the votes. LaTurner was running against Topeka Mayor Democrat Michelle De La Isla who received 40 percent of votes. LaTurner says that his first priority in congress is to get started on his contract with Kansas plan.

TOPEKA, Kan. – Republican Roger Marshall has won an open Senate seat in Kansas in a tougher-than-expected race. He defeated the Democratic candidate Barbara Bollier with 54 percnt of the vote. The race made history in the staggering amount money spent. Republicans haven’t lost a Senate race in Kansas since 1932.

JOPLIN, Mo. – A 14-year-old Joplin teen who had been missing more than a month is found safe. Leora Hardee was reported missing on September 17th from Joplin. Police say yesterday, Hardee turned herself in to a law enforcement agency in Wisconsin. They are working with police in Wisconsin to get her back home to Joplin.
