ERICK, Okla. – Authorities found two girls who were abducted from a Kansas home where two boys were discovered dead. The Kansas Amber Alert System said the girls ages 3 and 7 were found by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol near Erick, Oklahoma around 7 Saturday evening. An Amber Alert said the suspect in the abduction is the girls’ father, 40-year-old Donny Jackson. No motive for the murders or abduction is clear at this time, but Jackson is in custody.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Kan. – A suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Rural Montgomery County, Kansas. Authorities say a victim called 911 to report being robbed at gunpoint at the Regal Inn in Coffeyville. About 15 minutes later a trooper spotted a mini van that matched the vehicle connected to the robbery. As the troopers attempted a traffic stop, The vehicle’s passenger, 32 year old Wesley Jordan fired at the troopers. After a short chase the suspects stopped and jordan was shot dead by a Trooper after exiting the van.

MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. – One teen is dead and two others are injured after a crash in Mcdonald County. Missouri Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 2 pm Saturday, on a private property in Noel. Authorities say a 15-year old noel driver, overturned a 2015 John Deere Gator utility vehicle after making a sharp turn at high speed in a field. He and a 16-year old passenger from Anderson were taken to Freeman Hospital of Neosho. His other passenger, just 15, also of Noel, was killed in the crash.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation as a supreme court justice is expected today after Senate Republicans voted overwhelmingly on Sunday to advance President Trump’s nominee. Democrats oppose the president installing a new justice to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg before the November Third election.
