New information released about places visited by Bourbon County COVID-19 patient
BOURBON COUNTY, Kan. – Health officials release new information about recent locations visited by a person who tested positive for COVID-19 in Bourbon County, Kansas.
The Bourbon County Public Health Officer says the resident tested positive on March 22, 2020. The patient had recently frequented Fort Scott’s Walmart store and a local bank. Officials say those locations have been notified and are taking precautions to prevent any spread of COVID-19.
Health officials say the patient also visited the Kansas City, Kansas area and Independence, Kansas within the last two weeks.
The Bourbon County Health Department is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will continue to update the public with current information.
