New Bridges Come to the 4-State Area
Mo. — Two Missouri bridge projects should break ground soon in the Four State Area. The first project is in Jasper County on the Route D bridge over Center Creek just north of Webb City.
Construction will begin in the spring. The new bridge will be 18 feet wider and 12 feet higher then the current one which was built in 1935. The replacement is estimated to cost three million dollars.
The second project, which is estimated to begin in either 2019 or 2020, is a total replacement to the Route 37 bridge over Center Creek near Sarcoxie.
The new bridge will be 10 feet longer and 15 feet wider than the current bridge. The Center Creek Bridge was built in 1954, with the replacement estimated to cost 1.7 million dollars.
