Nevada woman changes plea, charged with selling drugs at Burger King
NEVADA, Mo. – A Nevada woman charged with selling drugs at a fast food restaurant changes her plea to guilty.
Amanda Peery, 41, appeared in court by video on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, detectives began an investigation after receiving reports that a Burger King manager was possibly selling drugs from the business.
On March 4th, 2019, authorities executed search and arrest warrants. Undercover detectives arrested Peery that afternoon at Burger King and found suspected methamphetamine on her.
Peery was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance. She has changed her plea to guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced on June 9, 2020.
